A whole new look at the armrest in the designer armchair
Armchairs are available in a wide range of different designs. Different materials, colours and shapes leave plenty of room for creativity. There are also armchairs as stackable chairs, upholstered chairs, swivel chairs, shell chairs or swing chairs. Every
manufacturer, every designer has his own unmistakable style. And of course this is also evident in the design chairs. The following manufacturers are particularly convincing:
Arper - soft, padded armchairs
The Catifa chair series from Arper is extremely popular. It is a good example of the manufacturer's clear, efficient design and of course Catifa chairs are also available with armrests. The armchairs from Arper's Duna series look homely and comfortable, especially if you exchange the classic plastic shell of this series for the Duna 02 model with seat upholstery. The stackable Juno with its many fresh colours is particularly sober. It is particularly flexible in use.
Kristalia - rocking and rotating designer armchairs
Probably Kristalia's most famous piece of seating furniture is the Elephant chair. It is now also available with wooden legs instead of the classic chromed base. The comfortable designer chair is also available with leather upholstery. You also have the choice between a skid frame and a four-leg frame. And the Elephant is even available as a rocking chair or swivel chair.
Pedrali - Designer shell chair lives a combination of wood and plastic
The Babila armchair from the Italian family business Pedrali forms a complete series. It is available with sled frame and four-legged frame. The Babila is also available with a fabric cover. The straightforwardness of Pedrali furniture is also evident in the Gliss Wood shell chair, in which wood and plastic meet to form an interesting symbiosis.
Magis - large selection of designer armchairs
Magis offers a wide range of armchairs. The Annett Office office chair is joined by the Striped Poltroncina Armchair, which fits particularly well outdoors, and the folding chair with Folding Air Chair armrest, which is available in bright green or red. The design of the Raviolo armchair by Magis is particularly unusual, its appearance actually reminds a little of the Italian pasta speciality.
Plank - designer armchairs charmingly woody!
The South Tyrolean company Plank offers the Monza, Mon Ami and Blocco models. The Blocco is a wooden chair that convinces with the greatest possible simplicity. Only the curved armrests show the creative approach. The Mon Ami, on the other hand, is so inviting that it could just as easily pass as an armchair. The Monza, which takes its name from the Italian Formula 1 circuit, stands out with its refined form. It is nevertheless practical - up to four of the armchairs can be stacked.
&tradition - minimal or even sweeping design
The Scandinavian design of the &tradition label is also reflected in the armchairs. Particularly popular is the Catch Chair, whose armrests seem to literally surround you. It is available as a four-leg model or with bogie. The In Between Chair SK1 made of solid wood has a completely different look. It fits at every dining table and invites you to linger a long time.
Mater - large armchairs with light design
The Danish label Mater convinces with the timeless armchair Cloudy Chair. It is so large that it could almost be used as an armchair. Due to its design, the heavy Cloudy Chair does not look bulky, but light. A classic from Mater is the J81. The solid oak frame and the braided seat have been around since the 50s. This armchair is elegant and comfortable.
